Kyle Richards May Finally Address the Rumors About Her Sexuality
The Season 15 teaser, released Nov. 4, dives straight into the elephant in the room — Richards’ dating life. In the sneak peek, the reality star acknowledges the long swirling speculation about her sexuality. Richards never says the words outright, but she strongly hints that she’s open to both men and women — enough for many fans to interpret it as a coming-out moment.
In one scene, Bozoma Saint John asks Richards directly what’s really going on. “I’m a girls’ girl, but in order to be friends, I want to know the information so that I can also be helpful,” John says, pressing Richards for the truth.
Richards responds, “Well, why don’t you ask what you really want to ask?” before adding, “I could go Brad; I could go Angelina.” The playful line implies she’s open to dating either a man or a woman — essentially hinting at bisexuality.
Richards’ castmates seem supportive of her new chapter. At one point, Erika Jayne tells her, “You need to get out there and do whatever makes you happy.” In another scene, John pulls out a whiteboard to help Richards define her dating preferences, jotting down words like “funny,” “intelligent,” and “sexy.” When asked what she’s looking for, Richards jokes, “Someone who likes sex!”
Rumors About Kyle Richards’ Sexuality Have Been Swirling for Years
Richards’ trailer moment didn’t appear out of thin air — it follows two years of intense speculation since she and Mauricio Umansky confirmed their separation in 2023, per Page Six. Fans quickly began to suspect Richards was romantically involved with country singer Morgan Wade, a woman she had grown extremely close to.
The two spent considerable time together — working out, attending events, and even getting matching heart tattoos — fueling speculation in the Bravo community. Though both women denied being more than friends, the gossip persisted. The chatter intensified in August 2023 when Richards starred in Morgan’s music video for “Fall in Love with Me,” where they played love interests and shared a brief on-screen kiss.
Richards gradually became more open about her own feelings. At the Season 14 reunion, she admitted to Andy Cohen that she had been “questioning [her] sexuality” after developing such a strong bond with Morgan Wade, according to Bravo. “When the chatter first started happening… that would never have crossed my mind,” Richards said. “I started thinking… Is this a crush? I don’t know.”
