We often hear stories of cats terrorizing their own families, but this story finds a family cat heralded as a hero for saving a little boy from a dog.
A little boy was minding his own business riding a tricycle in the driveway of his home on Tuesday when a neighborhood dog went on the attack. The dog bit down on the boy’s leg and began to drag him down the driveway.
That’s when the heroic cat ‘Tara’ threw herself at the dog and chased it away.
The boy suffered a few puncture wounds that needed stitches.
The boy’s father uploaded the video, taken by the home’s surveillance camera.
