After prematurely judging the snippet that leaked the other day, I can finally give you my thoughts on Trey Songz’ new single, “Heart Attack”
My final verdict? It’s just okay. Its sounds like they took your standard R&B breakup record and threw some electronic synths in the production to try and keep it sounding ‘current’. It’s not a bad song by any means, and while it is quite basic it comes off as slightly refreshing from Trey.
Would I be rude if I called it the less innovative answer to Usher’s “Climax”? No? Okay good.
