It's Official: FOX Picks Up Drama Series 'Rosewood' Starring Morris Chestnut in Lead Role

It’s official: Morris Chestnut is joining Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard over at FOX.

We shared with you back in February that Morris had nabbed the lead role in an untitled drama pilot for FOX, and now that the series has officially been picked up, we finally have the title: Rosewood.

Described as a medical procedural, Morris will play Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., a gifted pathologist who can read living and dead bodies like a book. Jaina Lee Ortiz will play the cynical female detective he often works with.

Rosewood is set in Miami and expected to air at some point during the 2015-2016 TV season.

Are you prepared to see Morris on your TV screen every week?
