Hulu’s recently announced, brand-new dating show “Love Overboard” is already making waves. The network has revealed that reality TV favorite Gabby Windey will host. Windey, fresh off her win on “The Traitors,” is stepping into the spotlight once again to guide a group of singles looking for love — or whatever passes for it on reality TV — aboard a luxury yacht.
The series marks one of Hulu’s splashier dating experiments to date, blending the confined glamour of “Below Deck” with the romantic stakes of “Love Island.” “Love Overboard” will follow a group of “sexy singles” as they cruise together, navigating personal connections, shifting alliances, and unpredictable drama, all surrounded by the majesty of the open sea.
At the heart of the show is Windey, whose run on “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” made her a fan favorite. In addition, her recent “Traitors” win showcased her crafty, strategic mind. Known for her dry humor, grounded presence, and ability to navigate onscreen chaos, Windey seems well suited to bring her signature charm and emotional intelligence to her role as host.
The show also marks a major behind-the-camera move for Alex Cooper, who rose to fame as host of the breakout podcast “Call Her Daddy.” Cooper serves as the executive producer of “Love Overboard” under her Unwell Network production company.
