Bill Cosby’s publicist was NOT a fan of Eddie Murphy’s return to ‘Saturday Night Live.’

Eddie took a quick jab at the incarcerated comedian during his opening monologue.

“If you told me 30 years ago that I’d be this boring stay-at-home house dad and Bill Cosby would be in jail, even I wouldn’t have took that bet,” he said. Murphy continued by asking, “Who is America’s Dad now?”

Bill’s publicist, Andrew Wyatt, took to Instagram to slam Eddie as a ‘Hollywood Slave.’

“It is sad that Mr. Murphy would take this glorious moment of returning to SNL and make disparaging remarks against Mr. Cosby,” Wyatt wrote. “One would think that Mr. Murphy was given his freedom to leave the plantation, so that he could make his own decisions; but he decided to sell himself back to being a Hollywood Slave. Stepin Fetchit plus cooning equals the destruction of Black Men in Hollywood.”

Bless his heart. We thought it was pretty funny.

Murphy previously declined to do a Cosby skit for 2015’s SNL40 special. “I am very appreciate of Eddie and I applaud his actions,” Cosby said at the time. In his 1987 stand-up comedy film Raw, Murphy talked about how Cosby called him up and “chastised me on the phone about being too dirty on the stage.”

Cosby is currently serving a three to ten year sentence for sexual assault. The disgraced comedian was found guilty on three counts of aggravated indecent assault back in April 2018 for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman in 2004.
