Empire is taking over our televisions; it’s taking over the Billboard and iTunes charts; and now its stars are taking over American Idol.

Jussie Smollett (Jamal) and Yazz (Hakeem/Bryshere Gray) performed their track No Apologies on American Idol last night as the Top 12 finalists and judges looked on.

No Apologies can be found on the Empire soundtrack, which is currently battling Madonna’s Rebel Heart for the top spot on the Billboard 200 next week.
