The former Bond girl, 65, peacefully passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where she’d been hospitalized since Christmas Eve after collapsing in her home following a hike, said her longtime partner, Lance O’Brien, to The Post on Tuesday.

O’Brien said he was sleeping when he got the phone call he expected, but was dreading, from a hospital doctor around 9:30 p.m. Monday.

The partner of “That ’70s Show” actress Roberts said he had previously agreed to have her taken off life support because the doctors told him it was the “compassionate” thing to do — given her kidneys, liver and gall bladder had failed as she battled a urinary-tract issue along with hepatitis C and a deadly blood infection then spread through her body.

“They told me all of her bodily functions, her organs, are disintegrated and she could never come back to being the same — she’d be bedridden for the rest of her life” if kept alive by artificial means, O’Brien said of Roberts, who also starred in the final season of TV’s “Charlie’s Angels” in the early 1980s.

He said he was headed to the hospital Tuesday to pick up Roberts’ personal belongings.

“And I guess I have to make arrangements to have her cremated,” he said, adding that that was Roberts’ wish.

O’Brien said he may spread at least some of the actress’s ashes in the hills near their home where she loved to hike.

Confusion had swirled over Roberts’ final moments after her publicist, Mike Pingel, prematurely announced her death Sunday.

The snafu arose from an apparent misunderstanding between O’Brien and Pingel during a conversation between the pair earlier Sunday, O’Brien told The Post on Monday.

“[Pingel] goes, ‘What happened?’ And I say, ‘I just said goodbye to Tanya, and I got to see her beautiful eyes one last time.’ And after that, I’m just blubbering,” O’Brien recalled.

“Next thing I know, TMZ, OMG, is on my cellphone.”

O’Brien said Tuesday, “The misunderstanding — I don’t know how it happened, everyone was frazzled.”

What an emotional rollercoaster for everyone involved.
