Rihanna is this year’s CFDA Fashion Icon honoree and she certainly showed everyone yet again why she is just that… a fashion icon!
Rih flaunted her sexy tattooed physique in a very risqué, custom design by Adam Selman for the event; and the ensemble, reminiscent of legendary performer Josephine Baker, was comprised of 216,000 Swarovski Crystals and consisted of matching gloves and a head wrap.
The Barbadian Beauty has been a force to reckon with since her 2005 debut when she stepped onto the music scene under music and business mogul Jay-Z‘s mentorship. Not only has Rihanna gained millions of fans for turning out chart-topping hits, but she has become an adored and certified fashion icon in very little time. From her trend-setting hair styles — often enhanced with color — to her confident, bold, and sultry style, Rihanna is the epitome of a fashion muse.
