The Met Gala always brings out the biggest stars because it is such a fun and fashionable event for stars to show off their style, and this year was no different! The 2013 Met Gala took place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and this year’s theme was ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’, paying homage to the Punk era and it’s relevance and influence on fashion and designers like Rodarte, Versace, Givenchy, Balmain and many more. Take a look at some of the Good, the Bad and, the questionable on the red carpet!

Sarah Jessica Parker in a Giles gown, dramatic Philip Treacy headpiece, and Louboutin velvet over-the-knee boots!Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs with her PUNK Rocker hair!Anja Rubik in Anthony Vaccarello!Madonna killed the Punk theme in Givenchy!Nina Dobrev rocked a cute lace Monique Lhuillier jumpsuit!

Lo looked amazing in an animal print Michael Kors gown with a Pompadour hairstyle!Gwen Stefani wore a black and white tie front Margiela gown and looked fabulous!Nicole Richie looks like a Punk diva in custom TOPSHOP and white hair! Oh Bey! Beyonce in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci was a miss… maybe it’s the belt, among other things! This look makes us want to sing Alicia Keys’ song “Girl on Fire’!Ashley Olsen looks like a 1300 B.C. christmas tree topper in Dior Couture.Grandma’s area rug! Or no… the picture over great-grandma’s sofa in the room nobody is allowed to sit in! Oh wait it’s neither, it’s Kim Kardashian with Kanye West. His facial expression pretty much sums it up! (Both in Givenchy)Didn’t the late great Eartha Kitt wear this in the movie Boomerang when she was trying to seduce Eddie Murphy? No? Ok.Linda Evangelista is giving us Ave Maria oh romeo where for art thou steeze in this Marchesa gown, and we do not approve!Something like Trinidad James’ 8th grade prom date. Hey Nicki! (Nicki Minaj in Tommy Hilfiger)Alicia went with an unflattering Leather and Sequins dress and bought a color stick and went to town on her ends and this is the outcome. Is anyone surprised though… really?! Did Mama Tina make this?Rita does better than this on a regular day. How dare she dumb down her usually on point style for the MET Gala!
