Just hours after three police officers were fatally shout in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kevin Gates took to Instagram to further express his displeasure with the Black Lives Matter movement and essentially condone violence against police officers.
“I’m not against black people, I’m not against white people. I stand for what’s right. A bunch of n****s jumping around hooping and hollering ain’t right,” he said in what’s easily assumed to be a reference to the Black Lives Matter movement. “But if we’re going to go to war, we need to go to war for what’s right […] I stand for what’s right. Us talking and all that, that ain’t right. But how they stood up in Baton Rouge, I can salute that.”
