Nene Leakes Meeting With E! Amid Alleged Firing Scandal in Hopes of Securing Her Own Show, But There’s Reportedly ‘No Interest’

NeNe Leakes is trying to make her exit from ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ as graceful as possible.

We already told you that NeNe was not offered a deal to return to the show alongside the rest of her castmates in our exclusive report on her firing, and now secondary sources have come forward to corroborate that tea.

In a new report, NeNe allegedly has been having meetings with E!, which is owned by the same parent company as Bravo, to secure her own show.

“Nene is pursuing her own show at E! because she’s felt like her time at Bravo has been up for awhile,” a source tells The Sun.

The source goes on to say that NeNe is determined to “go out on her own terms” and is hoping to secure a “spinoff”  behind Bravo’s back so that when it comes out that the network (Bravo) is done with her, it will look like like she had “something else already in the works.”

However E! “has shown no interest in green-lighting [NeNe’s] series” at this point.

According to The Blast, the other RHOA ladies don’t care whether or not NeNe returns — except for Porsha.

“The other ladies don’t care either way if Nene returns or not. They’re not surprised that Nene hasn’t signed her contract yet because she does this every season. Porsha is really hoping that Nene does sign her contract and come back to the show. They’ve gotten extremely close especially during quarantine. Nene is like a mother hen to her and always is checking in on [her 1-year-old daughter] PJ, it’s sweet. They’ve come really

We don’t know what story NeNe fed Porsha, but as of now there is no contract for NeNe to sign.

This is certainly a lot of movement and there’s a lot chatter happening for someone who’s adamant that they weren’t fired.
