John Legend & Sam Smith Duet on ‘Lay Me Down’ for Charity [Video]

John Legend and Sam Smith have joined forces.

The two Grammy winners (let us not forget that John recently added an Oscar to his awards haul) teamed up to re-record Sam’s In the Lonely Hour track Lay Me Down for the forthcoming Comic Relief special.

Comic Relief is a major charity in the United Kingdom that supports various issues, including education and mental health.

The song serves as the official single of Red Nose Day, a British charity that takes place every two years and consists of residents donning red clown noses to help raise awareness and donations for Comic Relief.
