Gigi Hadid took to Twitter to issue an apology for her (really good) impersonation of Melania Trump during Sunday night’s American Music Awards.

“I apologize to anyone that I offended and have only the best wishes for our country,” she writes in a hand written letter.

We’re really not understanding her apology at all — as it certainly isn’t the first time an awards show host has taken a comedic jab at someone else.
