The world took notice the past 2 days as history was made once again for the second inauguration of our 44th President, Barack Obama. However, while all eyes were glued on the handsome Pres, our First Lady Michelle Obama may have stolen the show with her impeccable style choices for all of the inaugural festivities. First off, we will just say the beautiful F.L.O.T.U.S. had more wardrobe changes than Beyoncé does at her concerts…but we loved every single second of it!
Yesterday, at the swearing in of the President at the White House, she kept it simple, wearing a blue printed Reed Krakoff dress with a matching blue cardigan and kitten heel black shoes; but then Michelle stepped up the glam factor that evening at the Inaugural Reception, wearing a black all sequined Michael Kors gown.
Today, Michelle gave us classic sophistication during the inauguration ceremonies, mirroring that of one Jackie Onasis-Kennedy, in a tailored blue and gray checkered print Thom Browne coat, accessorized with a J.Crew crystal embellished belt, super cute black suede knee-high boots and fuschia colored leather gloves. Michelle then changed for the luncheon, but kept with the same designers wearing a printed Thom Browne dress and blue cropped Reed Krakoff cardigan.
Then, tonight…the moment we were all waiting for, what would The First Lady wear to the Inaugural Ball? Who would be the lucky designer this go round? Well, Michelle chose designer Jason Wu again making her grand appearance to dance with Barack, in a ruby colored chiffon and velvet gown by the designer with a v-cut back! The gown showed off those famous shoulders and arms, and she was STUNNING, absolutely Stunning! Michelle also wore Jimmy Choo pumps and a handmade diamond embellished ring by jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald.
And we must add one last thing… the lashes, hair, and make-up were ON and POPPIN’ today like Chris Brown! Well, maybe that was not the best analogy but we meant the song! Anywho…check out all of Michelle’s glory below…
