Former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin, the officer who has been arrested and charged for the murder of George Floyd, is on his own.

His wife, Kellie Chauvin, announced through her attorney that she’s filing for divorce.

In her statement, she also sent condolences to George Floyd’s family, saying she’s ‘devastated’ by his death.

Derek Chauven has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
