Nurses are the most trusted profession in America, according to annual polls, but two women in Kennewick, Wash., are doing their part to knock them down in the rankings.
According to the Kennewick Police Department, authorities are currently searching for two different women who have both been accused of stealing packages off porches.
Both women were captured on surveillance footage and, oddly, they appear to be dressed as nurses, with scrubs and possible ID badges hanging on lanyards.
Ironically, one of the people they’re accused from stealing from is a nurse herself, who told CNN that she shared footage with a neighborhood group and found out about other instances of theft.
The police department claims that they do not believe the suspected thieves are actual nurses, because real nurses are too good and too busy for this behavior.
“The nurses we are fortunate to know only give their time, lives, and take the vitals of their patients (not their property),” they said.
