The Met Gala has arrived!
The biggest night in fashion, which always takes place on the first Monday in May, has a theme this year of “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” Tickets to the gala cost $30,000 each. A table goes for $275,000. All proceeds go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, the only curatorial department at the museum that funds itself.
Cardi B, Chadwick Boseman, Solange, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Janelle Monae, Rihanna, SZA, Lena Waithe, and Zendaya are just a few of the names expected to hit the carpet.
