Kim Cattrall is NOT here for Sarah Jessica Parker and wants to make that crystal clear — even in the wake of her brother’s untimely passing.
Earlier this week, Kim Cattrall’s brother passed away. She took to Instagram to thank everyone for their love and support and asked for privacy.
Upon hearing the news, her former ‘Sex and the City’ co-star Sarah Jessica Parker reached out to express her condolences — despite whatever personal drama they may have.
In the comments section of Kim’s initial Instagram post, Sarah left: ‘
Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.’
Cynthia Nixon, who played Miranda Hobbes, had also commented on the post, saying:
‘Hey Kim such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO.’
In past years, Kim made it no secret that she doesn’t keep in touch with her former SATC co-stars.
For reasons unknown to us, Kim returned to Instagram to thank her SATC colleagues & BLAST Sarah, accusing her of ‘exploiting’ this tragedy to serve her ‘good girl’ image.

Yikes. We knew there was tension behind-the-scenes, but clearly things have been way worse than what SJP or Kim have let on over the years.
