Wiz Khalifa is speaking out after news broke that his 32-year-old sister passed away.

Wiz’s mom, Peachie Wimbush, announced the news earlier this week on Instagram by sharing a photo of her daughter, Dorien “Lala” Thomaz’s obituary.

She captioned the photo by quoting the film ‘Steel Magnolias’:

“There was no noise, no tremble, just peace. Oh God(dess), I realized as a woman how lucky I am. I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life.”

“I have seen, heard and felt every bit of your love,” she added.

Just four days before sharing the sad news, Wiz’s mom posted a photo of her holding another woman’s hand asking for prayers.

According to the obituary shared, Lala died “peacefully with her Mother by her side” on Feb. 20.

A cause of death has not been released. Prayers go out to the Thomaz family.
