Wilson Chandler Neighbor Defends Building Manager after Twitter Tirade

Wilson Chandler’s neighbors are rushing to the defense of his condo building’s manager after the Nets star bashed her in a furious tweet.

A day after four of his teammates tested positive for the coronavirus, a staffer at his One Brooklyn Bridge Park building allegedly called Chandler in his apartment. He later tweeted, “Building manager called me saying ‘Oh, I seen Nets players had the virus. We would like to know your status. And if you could possibly stay out of the lobby etc. We can’t afford to lose our staff.’”

But one condo owner in the building — which is also reportedly home to Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis, and formerly housed then-Nets, now-Bulls star Thaddeus Young — said of the staffer, “She is always professional and courteous and only wants to protect everybody who lives in our building.”

The source added, “We’re all trying to be safe during this pandemic, so it’s a perfectly reasonable question to ask Chandler if he’s healthy, since numerous members of his team have been infected.”
