Will Smith Reportedly in Talks to Play Genie in Disney’s Live-Action ‘Aladdin’

Will Smith may have been passed over for a starring role in Disney’s live-action Dumbo adaptation, but the actor is currently being considered for a role in an even bigger Disney film.

According to Deadline, the Academy Award nominee is in early talks to star as the genie in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin.

Aladdin is scheduled to begin production in the U.K. in July.

This would be a great look for Will!
