Nicole Scherzinger’s post-Pussycat Dolls music career may not be as hot as she would’ve hoped, but that certainly isn’t stopping the pop singer from making her money!

It’s being reported that Nicole is set to earn $2.5 million to judge the new season of ‘The X Factor,’ making her the show’s highest paid judge behind Simon Cowell.

The only issue is that Sharon Osbourne reportedly stipulated that SHE be the second highest paid judge — but Nicole’s walking away with almost $150,000 more.

Sources say the news will come as a shock to Sharon, who was assured she would be the highest-paid panelist after boss Simon Cowell, 56. They say she only signed on the dotted line once her demand was agreed.

The bumper pay packet was needed to tempt Nicole , 37, away from her role in stage show Cats. Sources say fur could start flying once Sharon, 63, finds out.

One said: “During negotiations, Sharon stipulated that she had to be the highest- paid judge. But what she doesn’t know is that Nicole is set to pocket an extra £125,000.“This will surely anger Sharon, who feels she’s worth more than Nicole.
She’s more experienced after sitting on the panel for five series, compared to Nicole’s two.”

Fellow returning judge Louis Walsh, 63, will be paid £1m.

Also returning after a year away is host Dermot O’Leary.
