Wendy Williams Addresses the Aaliyah Movie Backlash on ‘Hot Topics’ [Video]

Ever since Lifetime’s Aaliyah: Princess of R&B was blasted by critics, many have been wondering whether or not the film’s executive producer Wendy Williams would address it on her talk show.

Wendy’s social media accounts have been blowing up with negative comments ever since the film premiered.

This morning, Wendy addressed the record-breaking film and all of it’s controversy — sort of. She made it known that the movie pulled in over 3.2 million viewers, making it the second-rated highest rated television movie this year.
