Is there drama between The Weeknd and Drake?
On Friday, The Weeknd dropped his new single “Lost in the Fire” with Gesaffelstein and fans think there’s a line in which he takes a smooth shot at Drake.

Drake vs the Weeknd is pretty much a Canadian civil war.

via Complex:
Right there in the first verse, The Weekend sings about wanting to have “a baby with the right one” because he could “never be the one to hide one.” As anyone who was awake for 2018 knows, that could be—and has been—interpreted as a reference to the once-secret child that was revealed at the height of last year’s Drake and Pusha-T back-and-forth.
And I just want a baby with the right one
(I just want a baby with the right)
‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one
(I could never be the one to hide)
For his part, Drake would later say that he wasn’t hiding his kid from the world but rather “the world from my kid.” As for past Drake and The Weeknd-related disagreements, they do exist. So far, Drake hasn’t joined fans in this interpretation of the “Lost in the Fire” lines. The Weeknd also hasn’t offered any clarity. Those are both things that will likely not happen.
Pusha-T took to Twitter to co-sign The Weeknd’s song, driving speculation even further.
