Whitney Houston was honored with Billboard’s Millenium Award last night at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards. After an introduction from Whoopi Goldberg, the emotional tribute continued with John Legend performing “The Greatest Love of All” and Jordin Sparks singing her rendition of Whitney’s iconic “I Will Always Love You“.
Whitney’s 19 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina accepted the award on behalf of her mother and had some touching words to say about her mother.
“I just really want to say thank you to everyone who supported us through it all, not just from when it was good, but when it was bad, to just everything,” said Bobbi. “Thank you so much for showing that much love ’cause she deserved it. I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life.There will never be another one, ever.”
