Ellen Grossman, the visual artist who shot to virality when she appeared in Jay-Z’s Where I’m From documentary late last year, was enlisted by MTV News to share her thoughts on Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Even though she has trouble with her hearing, she has nothing but nice things to say about the album.

It sounds like he’s really going deep into his heart and into fatherhood and even the meaning of fame. [He’s saying] that the money’s nice, but there’s life beyond that, that he’s exploring. I picked that up from the papers but I felt it in the man too, when I met him. That he had a depth to him.

In the video, Grossman raves about the MCHG tracks “Holy Grail,” “BBC,” and “Part II (On the Run).”

She’s such a sweet spirit. Watch her reaction below!
