After a festive Spongebob Squarepants themed birthday bash, Pharrell continued to celebrate his birthday with the folks at Saturday Night Live.

The singer was scheduled to be this week’s musical guest, but before his performance he was surprised with a birthday cake.

He shared, “Wow…what an incredible night and the show hasn’t even started. Thank you Saturday Night Live for the birthday cake and all the laughs.”

We still can’t get over the fact that he’s 41.
