When it was announced that Mariah Carey would be returning to the ‘Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve’ stage to redeem herself after the mishap of a performance last year — we admit, we had our concerns.

However, Mariah returned and delivered a stellar LIVE performance.

She performed “Vision of Love” and “Hero” — with a gospel choir joining her for the latter.

After the first song, Mariah lamented the lack of hot tea onstage to help battle the cold temperatures, before declaring, “We’ll just have to rough it.”
