Did you miss VH1’s ‘Hip Hop Honors’ special this evening?

Live from the Lincoln Center in New York City, the Hip Hop Honors returned with a vengeance to celebrate the women who helped pioneer hip-hop.

Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott and Salt-N-Pepa were the honorees at tonight’s event which featured appearances from Diddy, Michelle Obama, Pharrell, Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and many more.

Queen Latifah, Yo Yo, Monie Love, Da Brat, Ms Jade, MC Lyte, Lady of Rage, Suga T, Rah Digga, Mia X, and Eve perform Queen Latifah’s hit “U.N.I.T.Y.” to close out Hip Hop Honors.

Lil’ Kim performs her hits “Big Momma Thing,” “Queen B” and “It’s All About the Benjamins” with The Lox.

Fantasia, Monica and Tweet perform a medley of ‘Free Yourself,’ ‘So Gone,’ ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Lady Marmalade.’
