A group of teens attacked a man in the middle of a Chicago street because they believed he voted for President-elect Donald Trump.
In the video, the man is pushed to the ground before he’s repeatedly kicked — while others cheer in the background.
“Beat his a–!” someone behind the camera can be heard yelling before launching into a short chant of “Don’t vote Trump.”
The man then gets to his feet, but the group begins throwing punches, several connecting to his face.
One person from the group can be seen going through the man’s car.
Patch Chicago reported the fight occurred on the West Side of the city at the intersection of South Kedzie Avenue and West Roosevelt, though when the video was filmed has not been determined.
A Chicago Police spokesperson said the department was aware of the video and that they are currently investigating the incident. The man was hospitalized and they have yet to recover his car.
