Shane Michael Stanton, a student at Ohio State University, has been indefinitely suspended from the school after he violently tackled an anti-Trump protester.
Timothy Adams was standing on the stairway leading to the second floor of the Ohio Union and speaking to other anti-Trump protestors when Shane rushed down the stairway and shoved him to the ground.
Other protestors came to Timothy’s defense almost immediately and tackled Shane (while getting a few hits in) before police arrived on the scene.
After the attack, Timothy stood up and made the crowd laugh and cheer by asking, “Can I finish my speech now?”
The attack occurred shortly after 5 p.m.
Shane has been arrested and charged with assault — in addition to his university suspension.
