Adrienne Bailon ended her six-year stage hiatus to perform a tribute to her idol Selena Quintanilla.
In honor of Selena, the former “Cheetah Girl” hit ‘The Real’ stage to sing the late singer’s “I Could Fall In Love” to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Selena’s death.
Suzette Quintanilla, Selena’s sister, dropped by the show to discuss Selena’s legacy and Adrienne revealed Selena changed her life.
She told Suzette:
This means so much to have you here. I haven’t performed in six years. This was important to me because my first songs singing, growing up, were Selena’s. So for me to get back to it, singing a song like this, means so much. Thank you for giving me the honor of doing it. You and your family changed my life, so thank you.
