Saturday (March 20) evening’s Verzuz was something that real hip hop fans will never forget thanks to Wu-Tang members Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. The two New York MCs duked it out in the Verzuz ring, and it was everything fans could’ve imagined and more.

From the classic hits each rapper played to surprise guest appearances by fellow Wu-Tang artists like RZA and Masta Killa, Rae and Ghost did what needed to be done in order for their 100,000 plus fans who were watching to enjoy the rap festivities. However, this event wasn’t the only highlight of the night.

Almost immediately after the two MCs’ battle ended, Verzuz made multiple major announcements that left everyone in shock — and excitement. It turns out that they have a number of other Verzuz showdowns on the way in the very near future. The closest ones are The Isley Brothers vs. Earth, Wind and Fire, which is set to go down on April 4; and a special edition 4/20 event with Redman and Method Man. These are going to be lit (pun intended)!

“We’re just getting started. We got so much on the way and can’t wait to reveal the rest, but for now…” the official Verzuz account said on Instagram with a graphic for their big reveal, as well as dates for their future battles.

In the meantime, we’ll have The Isley Brothers; and Earth, Wind and Fire; and Redman and Method Man’s main events to hold us over.

Check out Verzuz’s announcement below.

Along with announcing these highly anticipated clashes, Verzuz teased their upcoming line-up which includes a Mother’s Day Special, a Ladies Night, and even a rematch between two undisclosed acts.
