‘This Is Us’ star Susan Kelechi Watson revealed Saturday she is “single” just a year after revealing her engagement to actor and activist Jaime Lincoln Smith.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 38-year-old actress — who portrays Beth Pearson on the NBC drama — celebrated Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election, while also shedding light on her personal life.
Last September, Watson announced her engagement to Smith, sharing the news on Instagram at the time. As of Sunday, the post has been deleted.“And I thought becoming Single was gonna be the only eventful thing to happen to me this year. #TwentyTwenty,” Watson penned.
As Saturday’s celebrations continued, Watson also congratulated Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on making “HERSTORY!”
Both Watson and Harris attended Howard University.
A rep for Watson did not immediately return our request for comment.
