UCLA Basketball Players LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley Are Headed Back to the United States After Being Detained for Shoplifting in China

LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley were spotted at the Pudong International Airport in Shanghai early Tuesday where they were making their way back home to the United States days after being detained.

The young athletes had been confined to their hotel after allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store during the team trip to China.

China doesn’t play, so it took some pretty powerful people — including Donald Trump — to get the boys home.

Surveillance footage reportedly showed them stealing from three stores, including Louis Vuitton, before their opening game.

CNN reports the players could face anywhere from three to 10 years in prison if convicted of grand larceny.
