Tyra Banks wants you to know she’s not engaged to boyfriend Louis Bélanger-Martin.

As Page Six previously reported, the 46-year-old model was spotted out and about wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring in August, sparking rumors that Bélanger-Martin had popped the question.
But Banks said on Wednesday that the sparkler was not a diamond engagement ring in an interview with Tamron Hall.
“They’re talking about the ring … The ring is a crab. It’s shaped like a crab … and it’s an opal, not a diamond,” Banks, who was noticeably not wearing the ring, explained to Hall. “It is not a crab opal engagement ring. It is just a ring.”
She added that it’s both “funny” and “annoying” that the press thought a crab ring was an engagement ring.
“The press gets it right sometimes but a lot of times they’re bored,” she said.
But engagement ring or not, the “Dancing with the Stars” host conveniently avoided confirming whether or not she is engaged.
Her rep did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
Page Six first broke the news that Banks was dating the Canadian businessman in October 2019 after the couple was spotted having a romantic dinner together at Upper East Side hotspot Hutong.
“The two were definitely on a romantic date,” a source had told us, adding, “But [they] kept the PDA low-key.”
Since then, the couple has been spotted all over LA together, even spending time with Banks’ son, York, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Erik Asla. Bélanger-Martin shares a young son with ex-wife Valérie Martin Scraire.
We also reported in November 2019 that the pair have moved in together and, earlier this year, an insider told Page Six Banks and Bélanger-Martin are “very, very much in love.”
