Tyga Owes Nearly $1 Million in Back Taxes

Tyga owes the United States some major coins.

According to reports, he owes Uncle Sam almost $1 million back taxes. He is accused of refusing to pay his taxes from 2011 through 2016, according to documents filed by the State of California Franchise Tax Board.

The grand total of his debt is $890,183.57.

Tyga is no stranger to owing people money. Over the years, the 28-year-old rapper has found himself in the center of a few financial snafus, including owing celeb jeweler Jason Arasheben (also known as Jason of Beverly Hills) $200,000 plus interest in 2016. He eventually paid it off.

Kylie Jenner’s ex-boyfriend also was sued for $150,000 in missed payments on a Ferrari, which ended up being repossessed twice.

Tyga also owed a landlord $182,275.89. In August 2016, he settled a $480,000 lawsuit from another former landlord for back rent — but only after a bench warrant was issued after he failed to appear in court for the case.

We don’t like paying taxes any more than the next person, but Tyga might want to pay up before the IRS decides to make an example out of him.
