Trevor Jackson Joins Potential Yara Shahidi ‘Black-ish’ Spinoff

Trevor Jackson has joined the cast of ABC’s potential black-ish spinoff.

Although the spinoff, which follows Zoey Johnson (Yara Shahidi) as she heads off to college, has yet to receive an official greenlight, Trevor will play a freshman at the college Zoey chooses to attend.

If ABC should move forward with the proposed spinoff, Trevor will have the option to join the cast as a series regular.

According to Deadline, Trevor will appear in an upcoming episode of black-ish that serves to introduce the potential spinoff.

Saturday Night Live alum Chris Parnell will also star as an administrator in ABC’s proposed black-ish spinoff.
