After nearly dying in an automobile accident last year, Tracy Morgan has taken on 2015 with a vengeance.
The comedian married his longtime fiancée in August, crashed the stage at last month’s Emmys and performed two stand up comedy routines in New York City last night. Oh, and he’s hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend.
The 46-year-old performed at Comedy Cellar and The Stand, and based on what we’re hearing, he absolutely killed both routines.
Backstage at Comedy Cellar, Tracy reportedly said the following:
“If God can get you to it, he’ll get you through it. And I’m here. My wife kept saying, ‘We’ll get through it, we’ll get back to the funny.’ And we did that tonight…It’s time for us to start laughing again. And that’s what we did” (USA Today).
We love it!
Welcome back, Tracy! Picking up the pieces!
