It’s been almost one year since Tracy Morgan was involved in a fatal automobile accident that claimed the life of his close friend and fellow comedian James McNair.
On Monday, Tracy stopped by TODAY for his first live interview since that tragic day.
During his interview, an emotional Tracy broke down in tears and revealed to Matt Lauer that he learned of his friend’s death after waking up from a two-week coma. He also revealed that he stumbled across his friend’s funeral on YouTube.
