It looks as though Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall won’t be returning to season six of BET’s hit show, The Game. The news comes shortly after it was announced the show would return for its sixth season, the third with BET since getting picked up by the network after originally getting cancelled on The CW.
The news first surfaced when radio personality DeDe McGuire tweeted:
Wow!!! For all those that watch “The Game” on BET Tia Mowry just told me she was informed an hour ago that she was FIRED from the show!

Tia confirmed the news via Twitter:
“Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6.It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun.

Pooch hasn’t confirmed his departure, but industry insiders are saying that he’s left the show as well.
Will you still watch The Game? We don’t know how the show will continue on without Melanie & Derwin.
