Taraji P. Henson Confirms She’ll Star in and Produce a Movie About Emmett Till + John Singleton Will Direct [Video]

Taraji P. Henson is making promo rounds for her new film, Proud Mary, out this week.

While speaking to Global Grind about the project, she revealed she has another major production in the works.

Her very own TPH productions is preparing an Emmett Till biopic in which she’ll play Emmett’s mother Mamie. John Singleton is attached as director.
