Tami Roman Is Reportedly NOT Returning to ‘Basketball Wives’ for Season 7

According to reports, Tami Roman doesn’t plan on returning to ‘Basketball Wives’ for another season — despite being offered a deal.

via The Blast:

Sources close to Roman tell The Blast she was offered a deal to return to Season 7 of the VH1 show but instead is considering moving on to other projects.

We’re told that Tami feels she’s outgrown her role on the show, and also hasn’t been with a basketball player since her divorce from NBA star Kenny Anderson back in 2001.  She’s been a star on the show since the second season.

Tami created a sketch comedy series, ‘The Bonnet Chronicles,” which has grown to 1.5 million on Instagram.  The web-series has a big following.

We’re told the reality star has been fielding other offers on turning the web-series into a TV show.  The series has a big celebrity following including; Halle Berry, Mario Lopez, Taraji P. Henson, Ellen Pompeo and Leslie Jones.

Our show sources say Roman has yet to inform the producers of “Basketball Wives” of her decision but we’re told she plans on informing everyone shortly.

It sounds to us like Tami might just be holding out for a bigger payday, but we’ll see. We can’t imagine a better or bigger platform to promote her ‘Bonnet Chronicles’ than in front of her fans on VH1.
