More to the Story: ‘Cheer’ Star Jerry Harris Sued By Minors Claiming He Sexually Abused Them

After having his home raided under FBI investigation, ‘Cheer’ star Jerry Harris is now being sued by two minors who claim he sexually exploited and abused them.

The 21-year-old is accused of sexually abusing and harassing a set of 14-year-old twin boys who are also in the cheerleading world, per court documents obtained by Page Six on Tuesday. Their names were withheld because they are still minors and the United States All Star Federation, Cheer Athletics and Varsity Spirit are also listed in the suit and are accused of negligence.

The suit claims that Harris took advantage of the boys who were starstruck following his involvement with the Netflix docu-series and shortly began asking for “booty pics” from them.

Harris allegedly molested one of the boys and demanded oral sex from him in a bathroom at the American Cheerleaders Association’s national competition in February 2019, the suit also claims. He is also accused of asking one of the underage boys to show him the “needle” pose while naked via Snapchat and asking one for oral sex.

The twins claim that they know of other alleged victims and they are seeking $1 million in damages.

In a press release sent to Page Six, Victims’ attorney Morgan Stewart said: “This case presents one more sad, and shocking example of a sexual predator using his fame and position of authority as a coach and mentor to sexually abuse children. USASF and the other defendants failed in their responsibility to protect our clients from his abuse by properly supervising Harris’s conduct as their employee and agent.”

“We have seen too many examples of national athletic organizations such as USA Gymnastics, USA Swimming and others ignore sexual abuse of those in high-profile positions like Harris,” Victims’ attorney Sarah Klein concluded.

Reps for Harris didn’t get back to us; however, they told Us Weekly: “We categorically dispute the claims made against Jerry Harris, which are alleged to have occurred when he was a teenager. We are confident that when the investigation is completed the true facts will be revealed.”

United States All Star Federation, Cheer Athletics and Varsity Spirit did not return our requests for comment.

Page Six previously reported that Harris was reportedly being investigated by the FBI for allegedly soliciting minors on Monday.

It’s sad he’s going out like this. We never saw that coming.
