Stacey Dash’s Advice to Women Facing Gender Pay Gap: ‘Be a Better Negotiator, Know Your Value’ [Video]

Stacey Dash appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Outnumbered and gave advice to women in Hollywood who are experiencing the gender pay gap and making 40 cents on the dollar compared to their male counterparts.

“Be a better negotiator. Know your value,” she said.

Stacey continued:

“There needs to be a demand for more aspirational leading female roles. This being said, there also needs to be an understanding of the difference between worth and value. You know, if you become valuable, if you know what your value is, then you’re worth more. So that’s what you have to figure out.”

We can’t say she’s totally wrong here, but unfortunately it’s not that simple.
