A few weeks ago, a story came out via the Wall Street Journal detailing an affair between porn actress Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump.
According to the story, Donald paid Stormy $130,000 in ‘hush money’ to keep quiet about the affair during the election.
Earlier today, a short statement attributed to Stormy Daniels provided by her publicist to news outlets quoted her as saying,
“I am denying this affair because it never happened.”
The denial raised a few suspicions, mainly because the signature drastically differs from a document Stormy previously signed.
Interesting
1. Signed statement from Stormy sent by Michael Cohen when story first surfaced
2. BuzzFeed obtained this signed statement today. We don't know who sent it in.
3. Stormy's autograph.
Look at the difference. The BuzzFeed obtained one looks very different. pic.twitter.com/aUklu9QUZ1

The same day the denial hit outlets, Stormy was scheduled to appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ During her appearance, she remained silent when Jimmy began asking her about the reports.
He then pointed out the discrepancies between her signature on the denial statement and her signature on a previous statement and promotional materials.
Stormy agreed that the signatures didn’t look the same, saying,
‘That doesn’t look like my signature, does it?’
When Jimmy asked her if she knew where the statement came from, she hesitated and replied,
“I do not know where it came from.”
She also refused to say whether or not she’s signed a non-disclosure form.
It sounds to us like somebody’s lying, got paid off, or is too afraid to speak the absolute truth.
