Since When? ‘RHOC’ Star Kelly Dodd Claims She’s Black — And Means It [Video]

The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Kelly Dodd got on national television and said she’s Black — and she’s sticking to it because of a 23andMe.

The “RHOC” star, 45, yelled that she is of African descent at her cast members during part two of the Season 15 reunion — airing on Wednesday, January 27 — explaining to E! News, “So we have Braunwyn who is blonde-haired, blue eyes, as white as can be. She’s always saying that I’m a racist or a homophobe and it really irritates me. So I did a 23andMe and I don’t identify myself as a black person, that was not my point. My point was I’m black, Asian, Mexican, Spanish, I’m 30 percent Native American and I’m one percent Jewish. And I’m all races.”

“I don’t see people with color, I see people. That’s it,” she affirmed.

Dodd — who tied the knot with Fox News reporter Rick Leventhal in October — came under fire when she sported a “Drunk Wives Matter” hat at her bridal shower. An insider told Page Six at the time that the hat was a gift from a friend and was intended to be a joke, but she unwrapped the present shortly after fans slammed her for not using her platform to promote or support the Black Lives Matter movement.

Dodd also claimed in a resurfaced clip from 2016 that she “[doesn’t] like black guys.”

“I don’t even know any black guys,” she proclaimed, angering her castmates at the time.

Dodd previously claimed that she “experienced racism” as “a woman of color” and stated she was of Mexican descent.

It is unclear if this drama will play out in future seasons, as Dodd also stated she would not return to the show if Braunwyn Windham-Burke is asked to come back for Season 16.

She has SOME nerve.
