“You’ll never find — bum bum bum bum — a hairline like mine,” sings Shaquille O’Neal in an Instagram video showing off the cost of a wager gone wrong: his hairline.
The basketball legend and TNT analyst, 47, lost a bet to former NBA star Dwyane Wade, 38, and paid up not with cash — but with what his head looks like when he doesn’t shave.
“Let’s just get it out of the way, America,” Shaq said Tuesday during the pregame show. “I had a bet against one of my good friends, D-Wade, Milwaukee versus the Heat. I said Milwaukee was gonna win by 20 and the Heat won. I said, ‘Well, what do you want me to do, pay you?’ He said, ‘Nah, you gotta let your hairline grow.’ ”
The 7-foot-1 Los Angeles Lakers icon and “DJ Diesel” also posted photos of his unshaven crown to Instagram, egging on his 15.7 million followers to make fun of his follicles.
“I wanna hear all the comments. Hurt my feelings, ’cause I look good,” Shaq said in the video captioned “That new diesel fade on point ain’t it.” He also offered a free Invicta watch — the brand is launching Shaq editions this spring — to “the hardest cruelest comments.”
The video has racked up over 1.5 million views.
