Say What Now? Lifetime’s Latest Trailer for Controversial Aaliyah Biopic Features Soundtrack From…Iggy Azalea [Video]

Let us just start by saying that we in no way are trying to shade Iggy Azalea.  However, when watching a trailer for the upcoming Aaliyah biopic on Lifetime — wouldn’t you expect to hear Aaliyah music?

We get it — the family didn’t allow production to use any of Aaliyah’s music, but surely they could have chosen something a little more fitting than Iggy Azalea’s “Goddess,” right?
